Northrim Bank announces promotions and new hires

Northrim Bank is proud to announce the promotion of three officers and welcomes four new employees. Northrim Chairman and CEO Joe Schierhorn is pleased to announce the following updates:  Greg Deal - SVP, Regional Market Manager Joe Gelione - SVP, Commercial Lending Manager Bill Bailey - VP, Business Development Officer Marc Tucker - VP, Systems and Network Manager Jessica Freauff - Assistant Branch Manager, Eastside Community Branch Nicole Johnson -Assistant Branch Manager, Fairbanks West Community Branch Peng Thao - Assistant Branch Manager, Seventh Avenue Branch Deal comes to Northrim with 35 years of experience in the banking industry where he has lived and worked in Petersburg, Ketchikan, Eagle River, Sitka, Kodiak and Anchorage. Northrim Bank executive graduates from Pacific Coast Banking School

Northrim Bank, Chairman and CEO Joe Schierhorn is proud to announce that Amber Zins, EVP - Chief Operating Officer and Kari Skinner, SVP – Marketing & Communications Director, have recently graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School (PCBS). PCBS is a three year program that, in partnership with the Graduate School of Business at the University of Washington, offers a unique combination of world class faculty, cutting-edge curriculum, and highly qualified participants that defines it as The Premier National Graduate School of Banking. The Class of 2023 attended a two-week resident session in August 2019 and completed their final two years with virtual sessions. The school boasts over 12,000 alumni, with hundreds serving as leaders of financial institutions across the country. PCBS utilizes its vast industry resources to provide tactics and strategies to deal with today’s most pressing banking issues. Northrim Bank Opens Nome Financial Center

Northrim Bank announces the opening of its full service Nome Financial Center, located at the Nome Courthouse Building, 306 W. 5th Avenue. The Bank has been operating on Front Street since December after receiving special permission to open a temporary location to meet the needs of the Nome community in the aftermath of the storms that devastated the region last fall and is now excited to move into its larger, longtime home. “We are pleased to be able to open our Financial Center after being in a temporary branch for the past six months. We are proud to continue our service to Northwest Alaska and look forward to welcoming new customers and the community to our new financial center,” said Mike Huston, Northrim Bank President. The branch opened today, July 17 for regular business hours. There will be a ribbon cutting, community donation presentation and open house from 12pm - 3pm this afternoon.
